I found Veldt very interesting as it provided a look into people’s fears about technological innovation from 75 years ago. The story did a great job of predicting the addictive nature of technology which can be seen today with the rise of cell phone addiction. The parents dying can also be looked at as the relationship between the children and their parents dying due to the children’s technology addiction. I enjoyed the story and was surprised at the relevance of the point made as it was written 75 years ago and technology has changed in a significant way since then.
